Dilute Koshian with water to desired thickness in a pot, mix well and bring to boil. Grill Mochi in a toaster until soft. Pour red bean soup in a bowl and add warm Mochi. Add sugar or salt as desired.

Soften dry Kanten (Agar) by soaking water and drain well. Cut into small pieces and mix with water, sugar and a pinch of salt in a pot and boil until the Kanten melts completely. Add Koshian and mix well. Pour the mixture into container and cool in the refrigerator until set.

Cook sweet rice and pound lightly. Shape pounded rice into a ball. Cover rice ball with Koshian using plastic wrap
