Online Ordering Procedure

Delete the item by clicking the trash icon sign.
For Local Ottawa Delivery (Exclude UPS/Canada Post/FedEx/Purolator), you can choose your preferred Delivery Date and Time Slot
You will required to read and agree to the Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, and Terms and Condition before clicking on the Check out button - Upon Checkout, enter your shipping address

- Select your preferred Shipping Method by expanding the option.
The expected delivery date will be shown by the specific courier option
- You can add your payment method on the shipping page too
- Once the order is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. If there are any issues regarding your order, we will contact you via Email or SMS.
- Your order will be processed within 4 business days

Ordering Seasonal Exclusive Item(s)
Seasonal Exclusive item(s) are pre-order item(s) that will take approximately up to 2 weeks to arrive.
To guarantee the freshness of the item(s), the item(s) are only ordered into the store once you have placed your order.
Local Delivery:
The item(s) will be schedule for delivery once we receive the item(s)
In-Store Pick Up:
You will receive a pickup notification email. Please try to make arrangement for pickup as soon as possible to be able to taste the freshness of the item(s).
All Seasonal Exclusive item are FINAL SALE. If you fail to pickup and the item(s) lose its freshness, you will NOT be eligible for an exchange or a refund.
Best Before Date (BBD)
Best Before Date (BBD) is the date that the product retains most of its freshness, taste, and nutritional value.
Once passed, the product is still safe to consume.
BBD are also found in the term "used by", "賞味期限".
For items that have passed their BBD, we offer a 25% discount in-store.
Online Purchase Best Before Date
You will received an email asking if you are ok with the Best Before Date if the Best Before Date is less than 30 days (1 month).
Japanese products usually have a short shelf life, most products have approximately 4-6 months shelf life from the factory. Hence, when we received the product(s), it only has a short shelf life. If you prefer long shelf life item, try avoiding Japanese products.
You could also request for the item's Best Before Date upon checkout
Expiration Date (Exp)
Expiration Date (Exp) is different from Best Before Date, it is the date that the product should not be consumed once it has passed its expiration date.
If you notice any item(s) that have passed its Expiration Date in store, please let us know about it.
Missing Date (Expiration Date or Best Before Date could not be found)
In Canada, product(s) such as Natto (Fermented soybean) with a shelf life more than 90 days is not required to have a Best Before Date (BBD) or storage information as these product(s) are considered to be shelf stable.
Occasionally, the product(s) will have a code on it for tracking purposes on the manufacturer's end.

0 to 3 km: $6.00
3 to 15 km: $9.00
15 to 35 km: $11.00
35 to 50 km: $17.00

Delivery Schedule:
(A) 11:00AM - 6:00PM
(B) 2:00PM - 8:00PM
NOTE: When the delivery is schedule and the driver can't contact you in-person,
House:
It will be left at your front door.
Apartment:
1) If the driver can't enter the apartment building, the order will be deliver back to the store, and additional charges will be applied.
2) If the driver can enter the apartment building, it will be left at the front door of your apartment unit.
Shipping Fee
All shipping fees will be calculated at the checkout page.
If your shipping fees is less than what you paid, the difference will be issued as store credit.
If your shipping fees is more than what you paid, an invoice will be sent to pay the outstanding balance. If the outstanding balance is not paid within 7 days, the order will be cancelled and a refund will be issued.
Final Sale Item(s)
Non-edible goods (i.e. item from "Other" category), Gift Card, Frozen, Refrigerated Item and Seasonal Exclusive item are FINAL SALE, they are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
Discounted item(s) that past its best before date are also FINAL SALE.
Online order(s) are FINAL SALE.

Packaging
Online order(s) are usually packaged in boxes as we want to be more environmentally friendly.
In-Store, boxes are free, plastic bags are charge between $0.05-$0.10.
We encourage ninja(s) to bring their own bags or takes free boxes as this helps save the environment
Free Moving Boxes
If you need to boxes to move, don't hesitate to come in-store to ask from us! We gives out the boxes for FREE!
